An integral part of the Adinkra Poetry Prize is offering free or subsidized poetry workshops that both share the historical knowledge of the symbols and support participants in refining their poetic voices and language as they prepare submissions. Workshops are held either in person or online and are often facilitated by the judges of that year’s prize. Since 2022, we have hosted more than ten workshops and continue to expand this budding writing community.
